I was born in Montecchio Emilia (RE – Italy) October 27, 1964, and the attraction for nature is grown in me ever since I was a child. My passions began from here, the trips, the mountain and the photos. The photo allows me to fix those unforgettable moments that I have lived by travelling and climb mountains, or more simply the nature that surrounds me. The mountaineering is a fantastic way to travel across our beautiful Alps and the mountains generally, it is always fantastic to look for peaks not necessarily famous in valleys which are new for me. I began to photograph in coincidence with my first extra-European trip: it was the 1987. I bought my first camera at my arrival in the USA, it was a Nikon 301 with the 50 f/1.8. The next year the Apennine became my school of mountain. In 1990 my " travel " alpine across the Alps began, I have enrolled me as a member of the CAI of Parma and I made a trekking advanced course and the next year a climbing course; in this environment I knew Mara that from 1992 is my life companion, of trip and of rope. I have done other sports as cross-country ski, the bike both racing and mountain bike, and doing some competitions. 02 September 2005 was born our first son named Matteo, 26 November 2007 was born our second son named Manuele. p.s. Sono nato a Montecchio Emilia
(RE) il 27 ottobre 1964, già dall’infanzia è cresciuta in me l’attrazione
per la natura. Da qui sono nate le mie passioni, i viaggi, la montagna e la
fotografia, dal mio punto di vista strettamente correlate. La fotografia mi
permette di fermare quei momenti indimenticabili che ho vissuto viaggiando
e scalando montagne, o più semplicemente la natura che mi circonda.
L’alpinismo è un modo fantastico per viaggiare attraverso le nostre belle
Alpi e le montagne in genere, è sempre entusiasmante cercare vette non necessariamente
famose in valli per me nuove. In coincidenza con il mio primo viaggio extraeuropeo
inizio a fotografare, era il 1987. Arrivato negli USA compro la mia prima
macchina fotografica, una Nikon 301 con il 50 f/1.8. Dall’anno successivo l’appennino è divenuto
la mia scuola di montagna. Nel 1990 inizia il mio viaggio alpinistico attraverso
le Alpi, m’iscrivo al CAI di Parma e faccio un corso d’escursionismo
avanzato e l’anno
successivo quello d’alpinismo, in questo ambiente conosco Mara che dal 1992
